LëtzQuiz is a free app for learning Luxembourgish. By using it you agree to these terms.
Free, for learning
LëtzQuiz is free to use for personal learning. It has no paid features or subscriptions and is not offered for commercial use.
Accounts
An account is optional and only saves your learning progress. Please give a real email address you can access, and keep your password to yourself; accounts that misuse the service may be removed. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Account. Saved progress is kept with care, but please don't rely on it as your only copy of anything important.
Content and accuracy
Spellings and genders follow the Lëtzebuerger Online Dictionnaire (LOD). We take care to keep the content correct, but it is provided "as is" for learning purposes and may contain mistakes. It is not official exam material and does not guarantee success in the Sproochentest. For official information about the test, see the INLL's Sproochentest page.
Third-party content
- Poterkëscht podcast: © Institut national des langues Luxembourg (INLL). Episodes play directly from the INLL's official podcast feed and are included with the INLL's permission. Transcripts are shown with the INLL credited as their source and owner.
- "Lëtzebuergesch richteg schreiwen" videos: © Zenter fir d'Lëtzebuerger Sprooch (ZLS), played with Vimeo's embed player as offered by the ZLS.
- Word and Sprooch audio is generated with Piper using the "marylux" voice, trained on the MaryLux dataset (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). The generated audio is shared under the same licence.
All third-party content remains the property of its owners. LëtzQuiz is not officially affiliated with the INLL or the ZLS.
Availability
The app may change, or parts of it may be unavailable, at any time. Streamed podcasts and videos depend on their original providers.
